Testing Schedule for EOGs and EOCs

With the end of the year coming up, we wanted to provide you with some important information about End-of-Grade (EOG) and End-of-Course (EOC) tests, which are required by NC law. As such, it is critical that all students are present to take these exams on the testing dates listed below.Our testing window will be from 8:15 am - 12:00 pm each day, so it is very important that students arrive at school on time (or early) so that they have time to get to their testing location and get settled.


Track 1 EOG/EOC Testing Schedule

  • Monday, May 20 - 8th Grade Math EOG; Math 1 EOC

  • Tuesday, May 21- 6thand 7th Grade ELA EOG; 8th Grade Science EOG

  • Wednesday, May 22- 6thand 7th Grade Math EOG; 8th Grade ELA EOG

Track 3 & 4 EOG/EOC Testing Schedule

  • Wednesday, June 12- 6thand 8th Grade ELA EOG; 7th Grade Math EOG

  • Thursday, June 13- 7th Grade ELA EOG; 6thand 8th Grade Math EOG; Math 1 EOC

  • Friday, June 14- 8th Grade Science EOG; Math 1 EOC for 7th grade

Athletics Update from Mr. Adams

Important Immunization Information for Parents/Guardians of Rising 7th Graders

State law requires all rising 7th graders to have a Meningococcal and Tdap vaccine. Students will be required to have vaccinations completed by the start of the 2024-2025 school year. Immunization records can be emailed to Ms. Thomas, our Data Manager at bwthomas@wcpss.net or please feel free to drop off in the main office for Ms. Thomas. Failure to complete this process may result in your child not being able to attend school, so please be sure to take care of this ASAP.

Students Not Returning to WCPSS Next Year

If your child will not be returning to WCPSS for the 2024-2025 school year, please email our data manager, Ms. Thomas (bwthomas@wcpss.net) as soon as possible to let her know. If you know where your child will attend a school other than WCPSS next year, please include that information in your email. Please also remember to return your child’s Chromebook and any library books or ELA novels before your child’s last day of school.

Student Council Needs Your Help

In preparation for the upcoming testing season, Student Council is hoping to create some small treats for students taking the EOGs on all tracks. As such, if you’d like to assist them by providing donations of Hershey Kisses and/or Jolly Ranchers to help them celebrate their peers, please visit this sign up to help with donations. Please send in all candy to the front office or to Ms. West in room 3707 by May 2nd.

Trip to Japan, Anyone?

Football Interest Meeting for Rising 9th Graders at Leesville Road High School

Do you have a rising 9th grader who will be attending Leesville Road High School who wants to play football? If so, there will be an important informational meeting for anyone interested in playing football for the fall 2024 season at LRHS. The meeting will be on Tuesday, May 21st at 6:00 pm in their main gym. All prospective players and parents should attend and register here.

Golf Tournament to Support Leesville Road High School Football
