Whether they take only one aspect from rabbits, such as their floppy ears, or stick closely to their bunny origins, each one of these rabbit Pokemon is unique in its own way.
10 Shhhh: Whismur
This timid Pokemon is known for its quiet nature; however, if it becomes startled or upset, it lets out an ear-piercing cry that can cause an all-day headache if you’re unlucky enough to be next to one, according to its Pokedex entry in Pokemon Sword.
While its design is more abstract than other rabbit-like Pokemon, Whismur definitely captures the cuteness of a rabbit with its yellow-tipped, floppy ears. These ears help to protect it from loud noises, as this Pokemon is particularly sensitive to sound, including its own deafening cries.
9 Burrows Into Your Heart: Bunnelby
With Bunnelby’s design, it’s no secret which animal it takes inspiration from. This muddy rabbit has dirt-covered ears and feet from a hard day’s work of digging tunnels. In fact, Bunnelby’s large ears are digger-like and help it to burrow underground with ease.

8 Healing Powers: Audino
Although not referred to as a rabbit in the games, Audino’s design clearly took inspiration from this animal. Audino’s main rabbit-like features are its floppy ears and cottontail. This Pokemon is known for its healing capabilities and ability to read the feelings of others.

In its Mega Evolved form, Audino’s floppy ears stand upright, giving it a more rabbit-like appearance. It also swaps its pink color scheme for a mostly-white pallet with pink accents. This rabbit-like Pokemon, especially in its Mega Evolved form, has a magical design that looks like it came right out of a fairytale.
7 Two For One: Plusle And Minun
These Pikachu clones are known as the Cheering Pokemon and come as a package deal thanks to their complementary designs and names. Introduced in Ruby and Sapphire, these Pokemon were the perfect pair to debut alongside the double battle system.
Although their design is similar to Pikachu’s, Plusle and Minun also look like rabbits, due to their long ears. As their names imply, they’re based on plus and minus symbols, making them opposites that cheer each other on in battle. In this case, two bunnies are definitely better than one.
6 Pet With Care: Nidoran
If you look past Nidoran’s spiky exterior, this Pokemon shares many characteristics with rabbits, such as its large ears and bucktooth. Nidoran is in fact a combination of lots of real-life animal species, but its rabbit inspiration is one of the most obvious.
First introduced in Pokemon Red and Blue, it was the only Pokemon to have a gender difference in this game, with Female Nidoran being blue, and Male Nidoran being purple. Although, despite how cute it is, it might be hard to pet this rabbit because of its poisonous nature.
5 Sporty Bunny: Raboot
Raboot is the second evolution of Scorbunny and continues its previous evolution’s sporty theme. Its fur resembles a tracksuit and it has a sweatband-like pattern on its head, making this Pokemon always ready for its next workout routine.

The cutest feature of Raboot’s design is the pouch on its stomach that acts like a pocket, allowing this Pokemon to keep its paws nice and cozy. 4 Fly Me To The Moon: Wigglytuff
This lovable Pokemon has a round body and light pink coloring, but its best features are definitely the swirl on its head and its bunny-like ears. Its Pokedex entry in Pokemon Gold is exceptionally cute, as it describes how two Wigglytuff will snuggle together and refuse to be separated because of their soft fur.
As its previous evolution, Jigglypuff evolves into Wigglytuff using a Moon Stone, its rabbit-like appearance could be a reference to the moon rabbit that features in various mythologies across the world.
3 So Hopping Cute: Scorbunny

The most classic example of a rabbit Pokemon, Buneary is a small bunny with tufts of fluffy fur and a single floppy ear. Its Shiny form adds even more cuteness to this adorable rabbit, as its usually cream-colored tufts of fur are pink and resemble cotton candy.
Despite evolving through high friendship, Buneary is the only Pokemon, aside from Legendaries, Mythicals, and Ultra Beasts, to have a base friendship of zero. Forming a bond with this rabbit might be a longer process than most, but it’s well worth your time.
